Located in the Coonamble district of NSW Central West along the heritage stock routes, we are surrounded by the best of what nature has to offer.
Our droving holiday packages allow you to enjoy the great outdoor experience while horse riding behind a mob of cattle for 4 days and camping under the stars for 3 nights.
You don’t have to be an experienced rider, as our expert team will be right there with you and all equipment and meals are provided.
Ross Clarke is a real Aussie character. He has had decades of droving experiences across Queensland and NSW, a lifetime of breeding and training elite level performance horses and has a gift for teaching that is utilised at weekend horsemanship schools catering to the general public.
The concept of Castlereagh Cattle Drive was developed in 2013 based on the combination of Ross Clarke’s bush skills and attributes and recognition of the emerging interest in droving as a leisure and recreational experience for both domestic and international holiday seekers looking for that unique or ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
